This week proved to be an extremely hard week due to low water & the hot weather conditions.

On Thursday Peter Cox landed his first fish from Cairnton a lovely fresh 3lb grilse from Potters on a small monkey.

Bernard Bimboes caught a 3 lb sea trout in the evening from the same pool.

On Friday Owen Duff landed a 5lb grilse from Glister on red Francis & fast sink tip.

This week turned out to be a fantastic week after a rise in water the week before.

This week started off with a good start with David Waters landing a stunning 9lb salmon from the grey mare on Monday, his 1st Dee salmon was caught on a dirty cascade.

Keith Collins had a brace of sea trout for his week.

John Downing landed his 1st  cairnton salmon for glisters on a red  Francis on Wednesday.

This week started off with a good start due too a rise in water over the weekend. 

Tuesday we had two salmon a 15lb was caught by Stuart Norris in the cottage & George Kuczera  with a fresh 7lb in invercannie.

Then On Thursday Pete keeling landed a 3lb sea trout from the cottage. On a Emerald start. 
On Saturday Enzo Torricell landed a beautiful fresh 7lb salmon from the spout. On a magenta tube.

I had my 1st cairnton fish from the spout on a willie Gunn.

Only one 5lb salmon this week from the Spout. It was caught on a Fox Hat copper tube by Billy Davidson.

It was a very difficult week due to low water & bright sunshine. We only had 3 fish for the week & a few were lost.  Top rod was Mike Richardson who ended up with 3 salmon with the biggest at 7lb. One of the fish had long tailed sea-lice and was caught on a small monkey with a intermediate tip.

This week proved to be a week of 2 halves. The first 3 days were very quiet with only 1 fish lost and a couple of pulls to show for the anglers efforts. The 2nd half of the week was better though with 5 fish landed and another couple lost. Top rod was Roger Ahlfors, who landed 4 fish. Anders Karlsson landed the other. All the fish were caught on Cairnton bank in the mornings and all fell to small monkeys.
