Accommodation at Cairnton Accommodation at Middle Blackhall

1.

Upon receipt of payment, it will be deemed that you have accepted these terms and conditions.

2.

On booking guests will be required to pay a deposit as a good housekeeping bond.  This deposit will be refunded, within ten days of departure, providing the accommodation is left in a clean and tidy condition and no damages have occurred.  Please note that in the event that the keys for the accommodation /garage are not returned at the end of your stay, the cost of replacement will be deducted from your deposit.

Prior to your arrival you will be contacted by email to arrange an entry time to the accommodation; this can be no earlier than 4pm.  Should you be aware that you are running late on your stated arrival time, please phone to advise at your earliest convenience on 07729 260237. In order to prepare for our next guests we do ask that you vacate the accommodation by 9am on your day of departure.

Prior to your arrival you will also be asked for your guests names.  It should be noted that there is an 8 guest maximum limit to the accommodation and this can only include up to 4 rods fishing at Cairnton plus partners or wives, no additional guests may stay in the house which are not fishing at Cairnton.

5.

On arrival guests will find the accommodation clean and tidy; upon their departure the accommodation should be left in the same condition ready for occupation by the next guests.

6.

Smoking is strictly forbidden inside the accommodation.

7.

All fishing equipment and attire can be stored /hung up to dry in the area provided in garage. Please do not wear waders/studded boots in the cottage at any time.

8.

Domestic dogs are welcomed at Cairnton, however we do have a few rules to ensure that the cottage is kept in the best condition possible for yourselves and all future guests:

a. Well behaved and obediently trained dogs are allowed at the cottage however please restrict them to the utility room only. Under no circumstances should they be allowed into the kitchen/living/bedroom areas or on the beds or on any of the furniture in the accommodation.
b. Under no circumstances should any dog(s) be allowed in the cottage on their own at any time.
c. Please ensure that you bring along all equipment for your dog(s) and a dog bed for use at the cottage.
d. You may take your dog(s) for a walk around the estate and the surrounding area however please keep them on the lead at all times and help to keep the estate and the surrounding area clean by picking up and disposing of any dog excrement appropriately.
e. Dogs are not allowed in the proprietor’s garden or to wander unaccompanied around the fishery site at any time.
f. If you are fishing during your stay then please ensure that your dog(s) are kept under control on a lead at all times to ensure that they are not a nuisance to other people fishing or using the estate.
g. As with all self catering establishments, we expect the cottage to be left clean and tidy upon departure and this is particularly relevant where dog(s) have been. If we have additional work during cleaning and changeover resulting from dog(s) then there will be an additional charge.
h. Any damage caused to any items in the cottage by your dog(s) will be fully chargeable to yourselves as our insurance does not cover such damage.

9.

Please treat the facilities & accommodation with due care so that other guests may continue to enjoy them. In the event that you notice damage in your accommodation please let us know immediately so that we can take the appropriate action. Accommodation will be inspected at the end of the holiday & you may be charged for any loss or damage found.

10.

We reserve the right to enter the accommodation in an emergency.

11.

We reserve the right to terminate a holiday without compensation where the unreasonable behavior of the persons named on the booking or their guests may impair the enjoyment, comfort or health of other guests.

12.

Please place all waste in the bins provided in the cottage and empty them on departure into the exterior bins provided.

13.

We shall use our best endeavors to ensure the availability of all amenities advertised.  All information, pictures and descriptions published have been compiled from up-to-date and accurate information available at the time of compilation and are published in good faith.

14.

If you feel that you have any comments or complaints whilst on holiday, you should contact us during your stay so that we can try to resolve any problems as soon as possible.

15.

We reserve the right to terminate a holiday without compensation if the above rules are not adhered to.
