A lovely week with plenty of early spring sunshine but still a chilly breeze most days and some hard overnight frosts giving us pretty good levels all week. Kent Harkansson's party from Sweden fished Cairnton all week and although they all had encounters and saw fish, Kent was the lucky one landing a 9lber on a Monkey in the Malt Steep on Wednesday afternoon and 10mins later Andy Ashcroft landed an 8lber on a Willie Gunn on the opposite side.

Heights were 4' 5" on Monday but settling back as the week went on. We did get a few inch rise on Thurs and finished on Saturday at 2' 5" and dropping.

Water temperatures were 36/ 42 Fahrenheit.
