This past week the height started at minus 2 inches on Monday and a bit bright although by Tuesday the conditions were beginning to improve with more cloud and some rain moving in.  Wednesday onwards we saw a mix of some rain and bright spells giving a rise of 5 inches mid week which did seem to bring a few grilse in but they didn't appear to be hanging around for long. On the fish side of things we were unlucky not to land a few more but Bob Kenyon did land a lovely 10lb er in the Spout on Wednesday on a small Gledswood Blue.
