This week was certainly looking more promising with better fishing conditions than we had the previous week with plenty cloud, some rain and a small freshen up of a few inches from mid week onwards however things were strangely quiet on the fishing side of things until Saturday when we did see some fish going through but they were not hanging around by the looks of things. Water heights were 3" on Monday . 1' on Friday and by end of play 9" on Saturday.  Water temperatures were 45/49 Fahrenheit. We are seeing smolts this week whenever there has been some fly life on the water with very encouraging numbers seen. Some Swallows and Martins appeared on Wednesday so just the swifts to arrive which are always a bit later.

    Cheers Brian
