Another week with conditions being pretty good for this time of year with a real spring like feel, warmth and sunshine on a few of the days this week. Tuesday was the only day the wind made it slightly difficult otherwise it was a light to moderate south westerly. The height was running from 1' 3" to 1' 6" and water temperatures varied from 40 to 47 Fahrenheit.  We started the week well with a couple of fish on Monday with Alex Penman landing his first of the season,  an 8lb er from Invercannie on a Willie Gunn. Andy Ashcroft had a 7lb er from Canary on the GWG.  On Thursday  Clive Williamson landed his first of the season in Glister, a lovely 9lb er on a Collie then Juan Santamaria managed a 9lb er from the plank on Saturday on a red Francis.  We have also seen a few fish showing this week but they weren't hanging around for long by the looks of it but very encouraging.  There are still some kelts lying in the beat with an odd one giving the fly a pull so all in all not a bad week.
