Another lovely week for fishing with most days having a chilly, frosty start then bright and sunny with westerly winds apart from Wednesday where it was pretty wet for most of the day and an easterly wind. Conditions on the whole were good for the last full week of February with water heights varying from 3ft to 1ft 10ins and water temperatures varying from 42f to 35f.  On the fishing side of things it was another quiet week but you have to be in it to win it.  Again for the coming week floating or intermediate lines with tips and Willie Gunn's or black & yellow tubes or the bigger singles in the same pattern should be plenty good enough.

The week ahead looks very changeable with northerly winds to start the week and swinging from a southerly to south west direction as the week goes on plus looks like some heavy rain on Thursday.
