A nice height this past week and a few fish about but the easterly breeze that was with us did make the fishing that bit harder however we did have the return of Pontus Gunlycke and his fishing party from Sweden, fishing on Middle Blackhall bank and are all able anglers. There were fish hooked every day but only one close enough for a picture with Jacob Broberg landing a lovely 10lb er from the Malt Steep on a Dee Monkey on Wednesday. It was a similar story on the Cairnton side with fish lost and some offers with a liced 9lb er coming from Upper Ferroch on Friday on a Sunray.

This coming week looks like we are going to have a change in wind direction with it swinging into the north and with it comes a temperature drop but we are going to get a bit of rain with some wintery showers.

Please check the website for the latest rod availability. The contact details for Sarah are on the rod availability page.

    Cheers Brian
