A lovely week for fishing with near perfect water conditions and a fish or two being seen most days but it was Friday before we had any success with Norwegian angler Chriss Beitveit who was part of Roald Meyer's fishing party that finally managed to land a lovely 7lb er in Sandy Bay. On Saturday, Chriss did it again with another 7lb er in the Malt Steep with both fish being caught on very flashy tube partners which he had found on the river bank at home and maintains he always has plenty of luck with flies he finds. A few other fish were also on and off for the party for their visit.

The coming week looks to be a bit mixed with some cloudy/brighter days and a chance of rain from Tuesday to Thursday and air temperature feeling slightly warmer.

We have some rods available over the month of April so please contact Sarah directly to book.

    Cheers Brian
