This week was a little quieter than expected as there were enough fish about and conditions were on the most part fairly good apart from a few stormy hours on Friday morning but the fish didn't seem to switch on at all for us, however we did manage 2 salmon and 3 grilse for our week. John Webb landed the largest at 14lb from the Malt Steep on Saturday. There seems to be a bit of a theme this season with anglers managing to land fish on their birthdays, so this week it was Jeff Hatton celebrating his 68th birthday on Friday and landing a 12lb er in Glister on an Orange & Purple (OAP). Happy birthday Jeff.

The coming week looks to be mixed with some rain most days, cloudy with an odd blink of sun and getting cooler from mid week.

Still chance to get a last throw before the season ends so get in contact with Sarah to book.

    Cheers Brian
