Last week the conditions were pretty difficult, the river was dropping away and we had some very warm bright days but water temperatures weren't too bad really, ranging from mid 5Of to 60f and there were a few fish about. This week saw the return of Iain Wilson's party whom all have been fishing for many years and adapt very well to the conditions that face them. Early mornings and evenings being the better and Iain did land 5 fish for his week, however the biggest being 15lb was caught in bright sunshine on Tuesday afternoon.  Will Meen had a chunky 3lb grilse on Thursday and Mark McGillivray had 3 sea trout to 3lb for his visit and between the party they had a hold of quite a few also. The successful fly seemed to be the the black and yellow Gledswood on small sizes.

This coming week looks pretty dry with the chance of an odd light shower, some cloud and some warm sunshine.

We have some availability coming up over the next few weeks so please check our website for full details and get in contact with Sarah to book.

    Cheers Brian
