A much better week for us with a couple of fish landed. Julian Sterck landed the first one of the week in the Garden Run on Thursday and was 8lb on  a 1 1/4" Willie Gunn tube. The second fish was also 8lb and was landed by John Brink in the Colonel on Saturday on a 1" Wille gunn, this was John's first ever spring fish and was released before a photo could be taken. We also connected with another couple of fish and saw the odd fish splash. Conditions were fairly good all week for us apart from Wednesday when we got a rise of over a foot but nothing to really worry us, most days were overcast with brighter spells but still a cool Easterly breeze. It's also nice to see a bit of greenery coming on the tree's etc again.

The week ahead looks pretty settled with cloud and sunny spells most days and winds swinging about between Easterly and South Wests.

We have 2 rods available on Cairnton on 27th April and 4 rods available on Cairnton on 29th April. Get in contact with Sarah to book. Booking details on our website. www.cairnton.co.uk/fishing-availability.php

    Cheers Brian
