This past week we started off again with a big water on Monday at 5ft and running with a bit of colour but dropping fairly quickly and the condition’s got better as the week went on with air temperatures making it feel more like April than February. Both banks were covered pretty well again with quite a few kelt’s being landed until Saturday when we were met with another big water, 8’ on the Cairnton gauge.

Today’s height is back down to 3’ and crystal clear. This coming week’s forecast looks like some snow coming in tomorrow but night temperatures are falling below zero so the river should remain settled for the week ahead.

We have some rods available on both banks for the first half of the coming week and rods available throughout the month of March. Please check availability on our website and get in touch with Sarah to book.

If you have any questions or queries about the beat please do not hesitate to get in touch.

    Cheers Brian
