This was a week with two halves. The first part of the week was good with 3 fish on the Monday. Then the rising river, carrying a lot of colour killed it . But we had two salmon & two grilse 

Two from the Cairnton, a 5lb grilse for myself using a t10 tip with a sunray. Mike Kimber caught a 10lb from Grey mare using a 10ft fast sink tip & a size 8 cascade. 

Over at blackhall Andy Ashcroft caught a fish from the Malt steep using a fast tip with a Alistair copper tube. Owen duff caught a 5lb from the Malt steep using a 7ips tip and copper willie Gunn. Sadly it went very quiet the rest of the week. 

Fingers crossed we catch a few more over then next Couple of days
