This was a frustrating week with only three salmon & a sea trout.

The week started off looking positive as we were seeing a few resident fish in a couple of the pools & seeing fresh fish heading & tailing. This made a disappointing week with just a 9 lb salmon caught by Tim Sperring In the Grey Mare with a full floating line & an Inch monkey.

The Second part of the week looked encouraging with a rise in the water. Swedish fisher Lar Lindh fished hard but was unlucky with only a few pulls for his 3 days.

On the other team Holger Kurth landed a fresh sea liced Sea trout from the Middle salt vats using a float with a sink 1/2 with a black , yellow tube. Holger also landed a 8lb salmon from Grey Mare.

Mats Jonsson waited until 5.30pm on Saturday to get in the action with a cracking 6lb salmon from the long jetty using a floating line with a intermediate , black yellow.

Let’s hope we get a change in weather over the weekend.

    Tight lines
