This was a good week with 8 salmon for the 1st half of the week. 

On Monday I landed a 9lb hen salmon from Grey Mare using a monkey on a 10ft fast sink tip. 

On Tuesday we had 6 salmon,

5 from cairnton & 1 on Middle Blackhall. Including a 15lb Male fish from Malt steep on a red Francis caught by Andy Ashcroft 

I invited a friend, George Kindness who caught 2 hen fish from Grey Mare on a 10ft fast sink tip & a 1" monkey 

I also landed 3 salmon on the same method from Grey Mare, Cottage pool and Glisters. 

On Wednesday I caught a grilse from Grey Mare using a monkey, fishing it slow throw the pools. 

On Friday Mike Richard caught a 5lb grilse from Grey Mare using a Sunray shadow on a 10ft fast sink tip. 

Also Chris Johnston caught a 20lb cock fish from Glisters using a monkey on a fast sink tip. 

Saturday seen Ian Johnston catch his 1st salmon this season, from Grey Mare on a monkey.

Mike Richard landed 2 for his day, the biggest being 7lb from Glisters. 

Heres hope for more sport next week.
